• Lead and coordinate internal dosimetry, absorbed dose calculation, and dose–response analysis for radiopharmaceutical imaging and therapeutic agents • Design and execute dosimetry strategies for preclinical and clinical studies • Develop dosimetry protocols, workflows, imaging-to-dose analysis plans, uncertainty evaluations, and clinical trial reports • Direct patient-level dosimetry using PET, SPECT, and CT, including voxel-level and Monte Carlo-based dose calculation • Apply time-activity integration, pharmacokinetic and compartmental modeling, and animal-to-human dosimetry translation • Establish multi-scale dosimetry approaches across organ, voxel, cellular, and sub-cellular levels, particularly for alpha-emitting radiotherapeutics • Partner with biology and translational teams to connect absorbed dose with biological response and optimize dose selection, combination strategies, and therapeutic windows • Oversee dosimetry data quality control, standardization, calibration, physical validation, and quality assurance • Implement new dose calculation platforms and modeling approaches for novel radioisotopes • Manage relationships with software vendors, CROs, external investigators, academic collaborators, and government agencies • Represent the company in professional societies, standards bodies, and consortia • Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to cross-functional teams • Contribute to regulatory submissions and medical physics knowledge advancement • Communicate complex dosimetry, radiation transport, and radiobiology topics to scientific stakeholders • Organize and deliver work against corporate timelines with minimal supervision • Maintain professional ethics, integrity, leadership, confidentiality, and current knowledge of dosimetry guidelines • Leverage AI to drive program, portfolio, or functional performance through prioritization and scaled adoption
• Advanced degree in Medical Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or related discipline, with didactic training in radiation transport and internal dosimetry • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading radiopharmaceutical dosimetry programs across academic, clinical, and/or industry settings • Minimum of 5 years of experience in dosimetry for radiopharmaceutical therapeutics in oncology, spanning preclinical and clinical applications • PhD in Medical Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or related field preferred • Recognized professional standing in the radiopharmaceutical therapy dosimetry community preferred • Extensive experience in radiopharmaceutical therapy dosimetry for oncology, including theranostic pairs and alpha-, beta-, and Auger-emitter technologies • Experience designing, executing, and analyzing preclinical and clinical dosimetry studies • Experience validating image-based dosimetry workflows against physical measurement and ensuring data quality control and standardization • Deep expertise in Monte Carlo radiation transport and patient-specific dose calculation • Experience with dosimetry platforms, heterogeneous GPU/CPU computing, and multi-scale dosimetry • Working knowledge of radiation biology, dose-response relationships, radiobiological modeling, and combination-therapy effects • Technical proficiency with OLINDA, MIRDcalc, MIM, Torch/RAPID, GATE, Geant4, MCNP, SIMIND, 3D Slicer, ITK-SNAP, Elastix, Python, C/C++, Matlab, or R • Experience with deformable registration and segmentation pipelines • Proven track record managing cross-functional projects and aligning stakeholders • Demonstrated success mentoring and developing technical staff • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment • Strong communication skills for global scientific audiences, regulatory bodies, vendors, and internal stakeholders • Willingness to travel up to 30% • Ability to work in a laboratory environment with protective clothing, gloves, and safety glasses when handling radioactive materials
