📋 Description

• Promote approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targets compliantly • Create demand for BMS medicines by presenting balanced clinical and scientific rationale for appropriate patients • Maintain and grow scientific expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas • Prepare and implement comprehensive territory and account plans • Use tools such as SOPHIA to derive insights and inform call plans • Provide tool-use feedback to leadership for continuous improvement • Present approved scientific resources and publications to HCPs with medical accuracy • Conduct in-office presentations and discuss product-related scientific information consistent with labeling • Organize external speaker programs, including approved speaker selection, scheduling, and logistics • Maintain working expertise on emerging data for approved indications • Engage Medical on Call for unsolicited questions and complex technical inquiries • Collaborate with other field teams to deliver the best customer experience • Gather and share customer insights internally with appropriate stakeholders • Comply with laws, regulations, and BMS policies • Build and maintain professional credibility with regional thought leaders, community-based physicians/HCPs, office staff, and patient-care stakeholders • Spend substantial time in the field with external customers

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree and/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales / MSL / HCP / nurse • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data accurately and convincingly • Experience building and maintaining credibility with key customers, office staff, and customer influence networks • Experience in cardiovascular preferred • Strong account management skills, superior selling competencies, and proven sales performance track record • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally • Strong selling and promotional skills with a track record of performance • Customer/commercial mindset and ability to drive business results • Experience identifying, engaging, and cultivating credibility with customers across the patient care journey • Understanding of the patient journey and ability to customize engagement and deliver tailored messages • Excellent communication and presentation skills for scientific and clinical data • Strong learning mindset and passion for science • Ability to analyze prescribing patterns, market trends, HCP preferences, and clinical data • Ability to segment HCPs and interpret product and customer data • Ability to use CE^3 for insights and dynamic call planning • Ability to use digital communication channels and healthcare technology • Competency using CE^3 and CRM tools to collect, enter, and manage compliant data • Ability to use Medical on Call technology • Strong business acumen and ability to develop, execute, and adjust business plans • Learning agility, integrity, and good judgment • For the company-provided vehicle: at least 21 years of age, a driver’s license in good standing issued by the state of residence, and an acceptable driving risk level
