📋 Description

• Support the strategic plan for risk assumption/risk transfer and loss prevention activities associated with physician and non-clinical risks • Collect underwriting information and maintain historical data for captive, reinsurance, physician, commercial insurance policy renewals, and bonds • Assist with risk evaluation and physician onboarding into the captive • Maintain databases of insured entities, properties, vehicles, drivers, physicians, and related information in the risk management information system • Maintain insurance schedules, policies, premiums, and policy summaries • Assist with physician credentialing and loss history requests • Analyze risk and implement loss prevention activities, including education, for clinical and non-clinical policies • Assist with compliance with patient compensation funds and other special state funds • Process and track invoices, premium payments, and premium returns • Coordinate certificate requests with facilities, practice managers, real estate, finance, human resources, and other internal departments • Keep Administrative and Clinical Leaders and Market/System Risk apprised of significant events and risk management activities • Work on special projects and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Healthcare, Business, or related field (Required) • CPHRM within 4 years of hire (Required) • 3+ years in healthcare provision or administration, insurance, loss prevention or related field, or combination of post-secondary education and experience in lieu of a degree (Required) • 5+ years in healthcare provision or administration, insurance, loss prevention or related field (Preferred) • CPCU, ARM or similar certifications (Preferred) • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Skills in analyzing data or information, planning, organization, data entry, electronic file management, risk analysis, payment and credit processing, loss prevention assistance, and data collection • Attention to detail, critical thinking, dependability, flexibility, adaptability, and effective interpersonal and communication skills
