📋 Description

• Work with network administrators, system administrators, developers, business managers, and end users to manage IT environment security • Stay abreast of evolving security issues and ensure preventive and detective measures are in place • Support daily operational tasks including log review, account management, and AV threat management • Participate in enterprise-wide projects aligned with organization-wide policies and industry best practices • Administer security infrastructure including firewalls, anti-virus, intrusion prevention systems, VPNs, SMTP gateway, and SIEM • Ensure security configurations of key systems are implemented, monitored, and reported • Investigate and resolve incident tickets • Provide technical support and consultation for network security configuration changes and enhancements • Perform active tests and discover vulnerabilities in information systems • Perform security administration functions for user profiles and roles • Assist with security certifications such as SOX and HIPAA and evaluate IT policy compliance • Conduct risk assessments, compliance reviews, and control reviews • Review security settings with business process owners for compliance with segregation-of-duties standards • Maintain information security administration and ongoing team building

🎯 Requirements

• Associate Degree in the field of Computer Science preferred • Minimum of 5 or more years of progressive experience in IT engineering • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, database, operating system and networking technologies • Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • Ability to work on-call on an as-needed basis • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds • No certifications, licenses, or other special requirements
