📋 Description

• Develop civil drawings for water and wastewater utility infrastructure projects • Set up, create, and maintain complex civil piping and grading models • Perform detailed grading design using feature lines, grading objects, and corridors • Create complex pipe layouts and structure/fitting tables • Coordinate electrical duct bank site layouts with electrical engineers • Verify survey data, GIS information, electronic deliverables, and record drawings • Conduct vehicle tracking analysis and visual clash detection • Perform surface analysis and cut/fill calculations • Coordinate across disciplines and implement designs under the direction of a licensed engineer • Verify client expectations, standards, and schedules in the BIM Execution Plan • Provide mentorship and knowledge-sharing to less experienced team members • Adapt to and execute additional assignments as project needs evolve

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of civil design or related experience • Proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD • Experience in both plan and profile development • Experience creating complex site models using pipe/pressure pipe capabilities • Ability to perform survey checks and verify electronic deliverables • Strong grasp of surface creation and analysis • Understanding of feature lines, grading objects, and corridors • Underground piping design and electrical duct bank coordination experience • Understanding of project design gates/milestones and required levels of detail • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Associate’s degree in civil engineering technology, civil drafting, or related field, or equivalent experience • Successful completion of pre-employment background check and drug test
