📋 Description

• Design and develop engaging online learning products aligned with Bryan University's Learning Model, program requirements, and applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements • Apply evidence-based instructional design, learning, and cognitive science principles to align outcomes, objectives, learning activities, and assessments • Collaborate and communicate with Program Directors, subject matter experts, faculty, and other stakeholders to translate content and program needs into effective learning experiences • Build and maintain learning products within the LMS using appropriate educational technologies and established design, accessibility, accreditation, and quality standards • Participate in quality-review processes and continuously improve the learning product • Develop authentic assessments designed for experience-based application of course outcomes or competencies • Analyze data, monitor program/course performance, and identify opportunities to improve learning outcomes • Reimagine programs and products by integrating established and emerging design concepts and technologies • Manage multiple projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring efforts move positively forward and implementing win-win solutions • Stay abreast of changes in Higher Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, and Cognitive Science • Contribute to an open, inventive, highly-collaborative, fast-paced team environment

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree required in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Adult Education, Cognitive Science, or closely related field • 5+ years in online instructional/curriculum design for Higher Ed audience • Proven track record for being a dynamic communicator and facilitator with a focus on student-centered, adaptive development • Demonstrated ability to utilize creative pedagogical and technological techniques • Strong presentation and organizational skills • Experience leveraging artificial intelligence and emerging technologies within instructional-design workflows and online learning • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online learning technologies • Strong communication (both verbal and written), collaboration, and facilitation skills, with the ability to effectively partner with key stakeholders • Demonstrates knowledge of problem-solving, conflict resolution, and delivering customer satisfaction • Values higher education and BU’s mission to liberate the innate greatness in people • Ability to work in a collaborative environment • Demonstrated proficiency in navigating through a PC • Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs simultaneously including MS Office programs, Gmail, Zoom, etc. • Ability to sit for six to eight hours • Ability to work a flexible schedule at least 40 hours per week • Qualified applicants will be asked to complete a sample project to showcase their knowledge and skills • Additional consideration goes to applicants that submit a portfolio with their application • An ideal portfolio includes examples of work within an online higher education setting along with a simple description of the work
