📋 Description

• Lead the organization's International Strategy and Business Development function • Establish strategic direction, governance, operating model, and long-term growth strategy for the international portfolio • Define strategic priorities, governance, operating principles, and long-term growth objectives in alignment with enterprise strategy • Evaluate, develop, and advance international growth opportunities through strategic partnerships, affiliations, acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, and market expansion initiatives • Develop organizational capabilities, talent, governance, and operating model needed to sustain international growth • Provide executive sponsorship and governance for major international strategic initiatives, ensuring execution, risk management, and alignment with enterprise priorities • Develop and maintain executive relationships with international healthcare organizations, government agencies, investors, consultants, financial advisors, academic institutions, and strategic partners • Provide strategic counsel and market intelligence to the Chief Strategy Officer, Executive Leadership Team, and Board • Advise on international healthcare trends, competitive positioning, geopolitical risks, emerging markets, and strategic investment opportunities • Represent the organization externally in executive negotiations, industry forums, strategic partnerships, and international engagements • Report to the Chief Strategy Officer and work closely with the Chief Development Officer and team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, International Business, Finance, Economics, Health Policy, or a related field (required) • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressively responsible leadership experience in strategy, business development, corporate development, consulting, healthcare administration, or a related executive function (required) • Minimum of ten (10) years of executive leadership experience developing and implementing enterprise or system-level strategic initiatives within a complex, matrixed organization (required) • Demonstrated experience leading strategic planning, business development, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, or market expansion initiatives (required) • Experience presenting strategic recommendations and investment proposals to executive leadership, governing boards, or equivalent governing bodies (required) • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives requiring collaboration across multiple executive functions and stakeholder groups (required) • Experience leading international strategy, global business development, foreign direct investment, or international healthcare initiatives (preferred) • Experience working with government agencies, international partners, or multinational organizations (preferred) • Experience supporting hospital development, healthcare infrastructure projects, or large-scale capital investments (preferred) • Strategic leadership, enterprise strategic planning, business development, international market strategy, and corporate development • Strategic partnership development, financial and investment analysis, business case development, and due diligence • Negotiation and executive contracting, risk assessment and mitigation, executive leadership, and executive influence • Executive communication and presentation, executive relationship management, governance and board engagement, and organizational leadership • Cross-functional leadership, change leadership, stakeholder management, consensus building, and executive decision making • Global business acumen, cross-cultural leadership, international healthcare trends, political and regulatory awareness, and market intelligence
