📋 Description

• Leads internal audit projects according to the audit plan • Develops appropriate documentation to support audit work performed • Assists in risk assessment process and preparation of audit plan • Conducts independent audits and prepares reports to management of findings • Communicates and prepares meeting agendas and status reports • Keeps current on industry trends and areas of interest

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; business, accounting, or related area • CPA, CIA, or CISA required • Three to five years of previous audit experience (Preferred) • Previous healthcare experience with deep knowledge of the healthcare industry • Mental agility and strong communication skills regarding risk management and internal control issues • Ability to understand broad enterprise risks in a complex health system
