📋 Description

• Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, correspondence, and other case-related materials • Maintain and manage active personal injury case files, ensuring documentation, records, and correspondence are accurate and up to date • Assist attorneys with discovery, including gathering medical records, bills, insurance information, evidence, and other case materials • Serve as a liaison between clients and attorneys, provide case updates, and respond to client inquiries • Request, organize, review, and maintain medical records and billing documentation • Monitor case progress, follow up on outstanding documentation, and assist attorneys with litigation stages • Track deadlines and manage calendars for hearings, depositions, mediations, meetings, and other case activities • Assist with preparing exhibits, witness materials, trial binders, and documents for hearings, mediations, and trial • Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries, reports, and other materials • Provide administrative and substantive support to attorneys throughout personal injury cases

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field preferred • Paralegal certification is a plus • At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a personal injury law firm is strongly preferred • Strong familiarity with personal injury claims, medical records, insurance claims, discovery, litigation procedures, and case management • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Ability to effectively manage multiple cases and assignments simultaneously • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, attorneys, and other team members • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented legal environment • Strong commitment to client service • Candidates located in or around Seattle, Washington are preferred
