📋 Description

• Build an AI-native Finance function and help modernize student transportation logistics • Manage the monthly forecast and budget-vs-actual cycle, including variance commentary explaining business drivers • Own SaaS and company-level metrics, including ARR, NRR/GRR, CAC payback, Rule of 40, burn multiple, and hardware financing economics • Implement and own Aleph, the AI-native financial planning platform • Lead go-to-market analytics across pipeline, funnel conversion, retention, and sales productivity • Prepare board and investor reporting materials, data room content, and diligence support for fundraising or strategic processes • Build AI workflows and agents that automate data pulls, variance flags, recurring analysis, and first-pass commentary with checks and reconciliations • Develop scenario and decision models for pricing, headcount ROI, and capital allocation • Work directly with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Revenue leaders, and the CFO • Report to the CFO and take on significant delegated responsibility

🎯 Requirements

• 2 to 4 years in investment banking, private equity, or a comparably rigorous analytical seat • Strong desire to move into an operating role • Genuine curiosity about AI and ambition to lean into it • Excellent modeling ability, including building clean, auditable models from scratch with transparent assumptions and identifying model errors • Fluency in SaaS and company-level metrics and their drivers • Strong written and verbal communication • Ability to explain the story behind numbers to non-finance and non-metric-driven stakeholders • Demonstrated ability to own significant work independently across multiple concurrent projects • Experimentation with AI tools in personal or professional work • Exposure to SaaS or recurring-revenue businesses through deal work or operating experience • Experience supporting a fundraise or M&A transaction • Experience with hardware or tech-enabled companies
