📋 Description

• Provide mid-level acquisition compliance support to the FDIC’s Acquisition Services Branch • Review and report on acquisition documentation within CEFile in accordance with the QA/IC Program Plan • Maintain compliance and documentation activities with exceptional attention to detail • Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports to ASB managers • Process FOIA, audit, and ad-hoc data requests by retrieving required documentation from CEFile • Conduct investigative reviews of contract files to identify relevant documents regardless of labeling or location • Determine which materials are applicable to compliance review using contracting and procurement expertise • Draft professional reports summarizing contract file examination findings for leadership oversight and decision-making

🎯 Requirements

• BA or BS degree in a business-related field, management, or legal field • At least ten (10) years of direct procurement experience in the federal government and/or private sector • Public Trust clearance • Experience working with GSA Schedules, GWACs, and MA IDIQs • Understanding and practical experience with acquisition management principles across the full contract lifecycle, from pre-award through closeout • Experience managing multiple contract types for supplies and services, including FFP/LOE, T&M, FFP, CPFF, CPIF, and CPAF • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to anticipate challenges, establish processes to avoid issues, and manage administrative workflows on behalf of management • Ability to collaborate effectively in demanding environments and build productive internal and external working relationships • Ability to set a positive example for teamwork, proactively mitigate misunderstandings, expand working relationships, and influence outcomes • Selected candidate must reside within the Washington, D.C. Metro Area • Desired: Master’s Degree in a business-related field, management, or legal field • Desired: Minimum of ten (10) years of direct procurement experience in contract management with a focus on quality assurance and implementation • Desired: Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or similar certification in government procurement practices, such as FAC Professional or FAC-C Level 1 or equivalent
