📋 Description

• Lead mission-critical network design and implementation across U.S. Space Force bases CONUS and OCONUS • Conduct site surveys and network assessments • Develop secure architectures, designs, plans, policies, and network topology artifacts • Lead preliminary and final SSR and SPRIP development • Ensure installations meet safety standards and restore sites to original or better condition • Provide post-deployment over-the-shoulder training to O&M teams • Design and implement routing policies and load-balancing solutions using BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP • Create cyber artifacts including topology/data flow diagrams, hardware/software lists, STIG checklists, ports/protocols/services, and POA&Ms • Design and implement secure networks, systems, and application architectures • Implement and support network management using SNMP, SYSLOG, and orchestration • Create LOMs capturing major components and installation materials • Prepare or contribute to deliverables and performance metrics • Ensure compliance with DAF policies and compliant IT system integrations • Coordinate with Communication Squadron and regional cybersecurity teams to configure, turn up, and cut over deployments • Assist O&M teams with post-deployment troubleshooting • Resolve technical issues involving networks, hardware, and software • Travel up to 75%

🎯 Requirements

• Current and in-good-standing Journeyman Electrician credential • 10 years of electrician trade experience • TS/SCI minimum clearance required to start • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and AutoCAD • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively with team members and customers • CCNP or equivalent certification (desired) • CompTIA Security+ certification (desired) • Secret Eligible clearance (desired)
