📋 Description

• Perform conventional electrical design engineering and analysis for power generation projects • Provide technical guidance on low- to medium-complexity projects • Develop, validate, and present technical deliverables • Learn and apply departmental design guides, standards, systems, engineering codes, and company policies • Support quality programs, continuous improvement, and change management initiatives • Understand client interests and communicate them to project teams • Attend and sometimes lead internal and external client meetings, conference calls, and site visits • Support business development by providing technical information for sales proposals • Support project teams and clients with data requests, site visits, execution clarification, and comment reviews • Coordinate work details and task sequencing with other disciplines, staff, project managers, and clients • Collect, assimilate, and manage engineering data • Research and recommend equipment and materials • Prepare contract documents, project documents, studies, and complex engineering calculations with little to no supervision • Identify and resolve problems within assigned areas or projects • Monitor budget, schedule, scope, and quality requirements • Provide input on project resource planning • Assist with contract administration and project management duties • Complete expense reports and timesheets accurately and on time • Assist in developing project scope-of-work packages, including scope, schedule, and budget

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required • 3+ years of direct work in Power Generation preferred • Related work experience demonstrating continuous growth and knowledge expansion • Experience delivering 3–5 multifaceted construction projects simultaneously • Experience overseeing technical aspects of projects and providing guidance and mentorship to project resources • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred • Familiarity with engineering concepts, practices, procedures, design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and quality programs • Ability to prepare complex engineering calculations using standard methods and principles • Ability to develop, validate, and present technical output • Ability to manage engineering data, budgets, schedules, scope, and quality requirements
