📋 Description

• Independently develop and apply advanced engineering techniques, concepts, and approaches to complex and unique engineering problems • Provide technical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary engineering, technical, and administrative staff • Consult with executive-level clients and internal stakeholders on major decisions • Apply, oversee, and improve quality assurance programs and ensure compliance with company quality standards • Develop and maintain departmental standards, policies, and processes • Lead continuous improvement and change management efforts • Interact with clients regarding project goals, status, interests, and future needs • Lead internal project teams and coordinate with clients, including site visits and project execution reviews • Support business development by providing technical information for sales proposals • Coordinate work details, schedules, task sequencing, scope, budgets, and technical aspects across disciplines • Drive knowledge management and knowledge transfer • Establish project work plans and identify technical skill gaps and mitigation plans • Influence and implement resource strategies for complex projects • Assist with contract administration and project management duties • Develop multidisciplinary project scope-of-work packages • Monitor project scope, identify changes, and assist with change proposals

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of related work experience demonstrating continuous growth and knowledge expansion • Experience designing and overseeing technical aspects of projects and providing guidance and mentorship • Experience with resource planning and management across multiple disciplines and large, complex projects • Expert knowledge of clients’ design guides and standards • Expert knowledge of Commonwealth Associates’ quality program • Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering, technical, and administrative staff • Ability to coordinate scope, schedules, budgets, and technical aspects of large, multidisciplinary projects • Ability to support business development through technical information for sales proposals • Ability to complete expense reports and timesheets accurately and on time
