📋 Description

• Develop and apply advanced engineering techniques, concepts, and approaches to complex and unique engineering problems • Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary engineering, technical, and administrative staff • Consult with executive-level clients and internal stakeholders on major decisions • Remain current on and apply client design guides and standards • Provide guidance on departmental standards, policies, and procedures • Develop, update, and maintain departmental standards, policies, and processes • Apply and oversee Owner QA programs with the Commonwealth program • Ensure compliance with the company quality program • Establish quality-related processes and promote a quality-focused culture • Guide others in maintaining and improving quality • Lead continuous improvement and change management efforts • Interact with clients regarding project goals, status, interests, and drivers • Identify future client needs and recommend Commonwealth services • Lead internal project teams and clients, including site visits and project execution reviews • Support business development with technical information for sales proposals • Coordinate work details across internal and external multidisciplinary teams • Coordinate project schedules, tasks, sequencing, scope, budgets, and technical aspects • Drive knowledge management and knowledge transfer processes • Establish project work plans • Identify technical skill gaps and mitigation plans • Influence resource strategies and plans on projects • Assist with contract administration and project management duties • Complete expense reports and timesheets • Implement and communicate workgroup policies, procedures, and processes • Develop multidisciplinary project scope-of-work packages • Evaluate costs, productivity, and competitiveness • Monitor project scope and assist with change proposals

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years of related work experience demonstrating continuous growth and knowledge expansion • Expert knowledge of client design guides and standards • Expertise in Commonwealth Associates quality program and quality standards • Experience designing and overseeing technical aspects of projects • Experience providing technical guidance and mentorship • Resource planning and management across multiple disciplines and large, complex projects • Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering, technical, and administrative staff • Ability to interact with executive-level clients and internal stakeholders • Ability to coordinate project scope, schedules, budgets, tasks, and sequencing • Ability to make project engineering execution decisions within applicable policies, standards, guides, and contract commitments • Ability to develop project scope-of-work packages covering scope, schedule, and budget • Ability to evaluate costs, productivity, and competitiveness • Ability to monitor project scope and identify scope increases or changes • Ability to complete expense reports and timesheets accurately and on time
