📋 Description

• Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement using analysis and make strategic or tactical recommendations • Perform modeling and analytics to assist new product and pricing strategies for lending products • Support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and strategic intent for retail-channel products • Build targeted insights for new customer experiences, breakthrough technology, and go-to-market strategies • Support improvements in credit performance by connecting future consumer credit trends to historical behavior • Create risk models and test hypotheses through rigorous monitoring and analysis • Frame problems, develop and test hypotheses, analyze results, develop solutions, assess operational feasibility, lead implementation, and develop monitoring plans • Collaborate with IT, Sales, Operations, Finance, and other Capital One colleagues to improve quality, volume, service, and profitability • Develop and test strategies that address major company challenges and impact the bottom line

🎯 Requirements

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or a Master's Degree in a quantitative field/MBA with a quantitative concentration, with the required degree obtained by the scheduled start date • At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis • Strategic and analytical decision-making and problem-solving based on analytics • Strong quantitative orientation • Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity • Impeccable written and oral communication skills • Strategic influencing, interpersonal, and negotiation skills • Results orientation and ability to execute in uncertain and fluid environments • Track record of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment • Previous consulting experience is a plus • Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization • Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in statistical model building • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in market research • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in SQL querying • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in business analysis • Preferred: 1+ years of experience in consulting
