📋 Description

• Write recurring reports on economic data releases such as CPI, the Case-Shiller Home Price Index, consumer confidence, jobs, and Fed rate decisions • Write industry reports on Cardiff's served sectors, including trucking and freight, construction and trades, agriculture, and food service • Analyze public data and Cardiff's lending data to surface key findings and trends • Produce quarterly and year-end reports synthesizing the year's data • Deliver clear report summaries for the PR team to pitch to media • Meet publication timelines tied to data release dates

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience • Ability to read economic data and find the story with a strong lead • Published clips in business, finance, or economic writing • Exceptional English writing; your work should be your own • Clean, accurate copy that needs minimal editing • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Finance, Business, or a related field • Reliability on turnaround times, often 2 to 5 business days
