📋 Description

• Interview users during the planning phase of the software development lifecycle to understand desired software outcomes • Document desired capabilities formally agreed to by users and present them to software developers • Identify operational and application requirements for usual system functions and error handling • Identify and prioritize system requirements in a software requirements specification • Document use cases, software user goals, and non-functional requirements • Create graphic models, mathematical equations, or storyboards to record system requirements • Communicate with project stakeholders regarding test results and changes to end-product requirements • Act as the primary intermediary between the customer and development team throughout the project lifecycle • Confirm requirements reflect end users’ needs and developed capabilities reflect requirements • Participate in peer reviews of requirements, system design, code, and test cases • Develop a requirements management plan incorporating a change control process • Track individual requirements from baseline to final verification of functionality following software development

🎯 Requirements

• Must possess a Moderate Risk, Confidential, Non-Critical Sensitive, Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation • U.S. Citizenship • Clear criminal history check • No recent or pending bankruptcies • 5+ years of relevant experience • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science • Experience interviewing users to understand desired software outcomes • Experience documenting desired capabilities formally agreed to by users and presenting them to software developers • Experience identifying operational and application requirements, including usual system functions and error handling requirements • Experience identifying and prioritizing system requirements • Experience documenting requirements in a software requirements specification • Experience documenting use cases, software user goals, and non-functional requirements, such as quality standards and design restraints • Experience creating graphic models, mathematical equations, or storyboards to record system requirements • Experience communicating with project stakeholders regarding test results and changes to end-product requirements • Experience acting as the primary intermediary between the customer and the development team throughout a project’s life cycle • Experience confirming that requirements reflect end users’ needs and that the capability being developed reflects the requirements • Experience participating in peer reviews to validate requirements • Experience reviewing system design, code, and test cases to confirm the system adheres to documented requirements • Experience developing a requirements management plan that incorporates a change control process • Experience tracking individual requirements from baseline to final verification of functionality following software development
