📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS/platform, publisher, data and licensing, marketing and media insertion orders, NDAs, and strategic partnership contracts • Develop a deep technical understanding of data flows and technology to advise on commercial deal frameworks • Advise internal stakeholders on commercial and contractual risks with practical guidance • Partner with Sales, Partnerships, and Product on deal structuring, product review, and contract execution • Maintain and improve contract templates and playbooks • Identify, research, analyze, and address risks related to commercial, data security, and privacy laws • Contribute to Legal team process improvements and knowledge management • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Finance, and People • Report to the Chief Legal and Privacy Officer

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school • Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar in good standing • 8+ years of combined experience practicing law, focused on commercial transactions • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial and technology agreements • Experience ideally including SaaS, data, advertising, and/or partnership deals • Experience with deals involving financial institutions and large technology companies • Deep understanding of privacy, data governance, and AI, including expertise in the EU AI Act • Strong business acumen • Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities and tight timelines • Familiarity with or willingness to work within macOS and Google Workspace; support for both macOS and Windows • Ability to embody company values and lead with integrity, accountability, and a growth mindset
