• Engage in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care • Engage patients and families throughout the continuum of care • Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans • Mobilize resources and collaborate with the care team to influence care outcomes • Uphold and promote a culture of safety • Evaluate patient, team, and unit outcomes and take action as needed • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to clinical protocols when required • Provide effective communication, feedback, conflict resolution, team collaboration, and delegation • Pursue professional development, complete required education, and maintain certifications • Practice ethical decision-making in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics • Delegate appropriately to RNs, LPNs, and unlicensed assistive personnel • Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation • Float to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area when required • Provide age-appropriate patient care based on assessment and departmental policies
• Must live within 50 miles of the call center located at 11304 Hawthorne Dr, Mint Hill, NC • BSN & 5 yrs RN experience required • Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program • Basic Life Support (BLS) • Active, unrestricted registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing client nursing services • Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking • Time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Proficiency in computer functions, including email, electronic records, and digital platforms • Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach above shoulders, and twist frequently • Ability to lift and support 35 pounds • Ability to push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person • Functional speech, vision, hearing, touch, and fine hand manipulation skills • Ability to maneuver foot pedals • Ability to perform physical safety interventions and verbal de-escalation • Ability to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions • Physical Abilities Testing may be required
