📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data processes and solutions • Lead efficient movement and transformation of data across multiple systems • Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses for business intelligence and analytics • Collaborate with IT, product, analytics, business teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions • Mentor associate, intermediate, and senior data engineers as needed • Collaborate with Data Leaders to ensure consistency across systems and platforms • Monitor production schedules, provide progress updates, and report issues or technical difficulties • Implement and manage data governance practices, including data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance • Stay current with data engineering trends and recommend tools and best practices • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a US citizen due to contractual/access requirements • 7 years of experience designing and analyzing algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for scalable, highly available systems • 7 years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or data management • 7 years of experience with SQL and database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB • 7 years of experience with data warehouse solutions and concepts such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related field • Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform, including BigQuery, DataFlow, Cloud Composer/Managed Airflow, DataProc, Cloud Run, and DataPlex • Proficiency in SQL and Python • Experience with data models, databases, data warehouses, data governance, and data quality • Preferred experience with dbt, Starburst/Trino, Monte Carlo, Soda, Atlan, Collibra, Apache Iceberg, and Delta Lake • Preferred 5+ years with GCP data services, on-premise databases including Oracle, Teradata, and DB2, and Unix/Linux environments • Ability to mentor junior data engineers • Compliance with HIPAA, data security guidelines, company policies, and applicable laws • No additional language required beyond English
