📋 Description

• Performs oncology registry case finding and follow-up in accordance with Commission on Cancer (CoC) and Pennsylvania Cancer Registry (PCR) standards • Identifies reportable cases for inclusion into the cancer registry database • Maintains successful follow-up rates using various Electronic Health Record (EHR) sources • Initiates abstraction of required data elements • Performs other duties as assigned or requested

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s degree in healthcare related field or relevant experience and/or education in lieu of Associate's degree • 1 year of experience in knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and/or medical terminology • Experience with analyzing and interpreting medical and treatment information • Experience with working across all disciplines to collect cancer data • Experience working with EPIC • Oncology registry experience • Certified Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) exam eligible • Registered Health Information Technician/Administrator (RHIT/RHIA) or exam eligible • Compliance with HIPAA, data security guidelines, the Company’s Handbook of Privacy Policies and Practices, Information Security Policy, Code of Business Conduct, applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and training requirements
