📋 Description
• Ensure optimal system efficiency, scalability, and cost-effectiveness • Proactively monitor system resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage) • Analyze workload trends and forecast future infrastructure requirements • Operate within a Parallel Sysplex environment • Balance system performance with financial efficiency • Conduct Capacity Forecasting and Performance Tuning of applications • Collaborate with application and DevOps teams
🎯 Requirements
• 10+ years of mainframe systems experience in large, multi-LPAR, Parallel Sysplex z/OS environments • Expertise in real-time mainframe performance monitoring and capacity management • Deep experience with RMF, SMF, WLM, and other mainframe performance tools • Strong hands-on skills in REXX and JCL • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint • Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize mainframe workloads in real time • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline • 5 years in an IT discipline • 5 years in a Business discipline
