📋 Description

• Provide patient-centered, specialized, evidence-based nursing care across the continuum • Utilize the nursing process and assess patients' physical condition and nursing needs • Develop and plan patient care collaboratively with patients and the interprofessional team • Perform professional clinical nurse (RN) functions appropriate to patient age, development, and culture • Improve patient care experiences, streamline care processes, lower costs, and promote quality • Contribute to mentoring, engagement, and professional development of clinicians • Consult with physicians and interprofessional team members to problem-solve and improve patient care • Proactively manage risk and prevent crises • Perform skillfully during life-threatening emergencies

🎯 Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required • Current Wisconsin RN Licensure • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to 50 pounds without assistance • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform patient care procedures • Compliance with department-specific competencies • Weekend and holiday rotation • Variable Monday–Friday schedule • Frequent phone communication with patients and staff; calls are recorded and monitored for quality assurance, training, and compliance purposes
