📋 Description

• Act as the patient's advocate to ensure prescribed drug therapy and pharmacy care plans are followed • Deliver courteous, professional, and quality service • Coordinate pharmacy care with healthcare providers, payers, and other health-related resources • Answer and resolve patient inquiries within committed time frames • Assist patients with drug therapy and pharmacy care issues • Promote drug compliance • Report adverse events related to drug therapy and pharmacy care • Maintain customer relationships with physician practices and streamline communication among patients, payers, pharmacists, nurses, labs, and other healthcare parties • Participate in administration of patients' pharmacy care plans • Troubleshoot and resolve patient and payer issues • Support other healthcare team members in a team-structured environment • Identify and communicate continuous quality improvement opportunities • Maintain current notes and documentation related to patients' drug therapy and pharmacy care plans • Coordinate responses and resolutions with appropriate internal and external parties • Participate in case discussions with pharmacists, nursing services, pharmacy support managers, and other pharmacy care coordinators • Perform related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Must live in either Texas or Kentucky • High school diploma required • Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare-related call center environment, physician's office, or social service environment • Preferred education in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations through a two-year associate degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education • Strong time management and organizational skills • Initiative, professional demeanor, and positive attitude • Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly • Self-motivated and proactive • Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative • Effective oral and written communication skills • Ability to promote a positive team environment • Commitment to excellence, efficiency, and quality • Ability to collaborate with other professionals within the organization • Strong interpersonal skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook • Must be flexible on schedule and hours • Some travel may be required
