📋 Description

• Lead CareMetx’s revenue accounting and accounts receivable function • Manage and develop a team of revenue accounting staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, goal-setting, and day-to-day coaching • Own the month-end close for revenue, directing journal entries, reconciliations, and revenue schedules while reviewing for accuracy, completeness, and GAAP compliance • Provide strategic oversight of Accounts Receivable, setting collection targets, monitoring AR aging and KPIs, and escalating issues to Sales and Account Management leadership • Serve as senior authority on client invoicing policy and the Sage contracts module • Establish standards and controls for invoice review and approval • Lead the annual audit for revenue and AR areas, coordinating deliverables and serving as primary contact for external auditors • Partner with Sales, Account Management, Legal, and Operations on contract terms, billing structures, and revenue recognition • Identify and lead process improvement and automation initiatives across the revenue cycle • Maintain regular and reliable attendance and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required • CPA or advanced degree a plus • 5–7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience • Proven experience leading or significantly contributing to annual financial audits; experience with public accounting firms preferred • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team • Strong performance management and coaching skills • Deep knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606), accounts receivable management, and internal controls • Excellent communication and influencing skills • Ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders and build effective relationships across departments • Proficiency in financial software • Experience with Sage contracts module preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Must be flexible on schedule and hours • Some travel may be required • Ability to regularly sit and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
