📋 Description

• Perform intermediate-level data warehouse architecture • Create data models for moderate to advanced subjects • Create ETL specifications to meet business data needs • Develop and maintain design and operation documentation • Analyze data sources and recommend solutions, including risks and mitigation • Participate in long-term data warehouse and dashboard architecture planning • Create and manage data warehouse and analytics architectures for solution development • Propose requirements, standards, and best practices for data modeling, ETL specifications, and data warehouse development • Review existing systems for compliance with established standards and to empower business operations • Conduct product and vendor research and present recommendations to database developers and/or management • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and equipment suppliers, including installation and repair of services

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of data design/data architecture experience and/or minimum 2 years of data warehouse architecture experience • Dimensional modeling experience • Data quality assessment • Proficiency with SQL • Agile/Scrum methodology • Source-target mapping • Data analysis • Working knowledge/skills of Microsoft SQL Server • Working knowledge of cloud data warehousing tools such as Snowflake or Redshift • Working knowledge/skills of ETL tools such as SSIS or Azure Data Factory • Advanced troubleshooting of system performance issues and root cause • Working knowledge/skills of unit and integration testing • Effective communication, listening, verbal, written, and customer service skills • Ability to articulate policies and instructions clearly • Ability to communicate appropriate detail to technical and non-technical staff • Ability to recommend policies, document risks, and propose solutions to IT management and senior leadership • Ability to collaborate across departments • Ability to learn, evaluate information, and determine appropriate actions • Ability to see, read, and perform repetitive finger and wrist movement for at least 6 hours/day • Ability to hear and speak clearly for at least 3–6 hours/day
