📋 Description

• Provide support on special projects, initiatives, and assignment-specific activities • Perform day-to-day actuarial tasks, including reserving, forecasting, benefit pricing, and rate analysis • Complete a summer-long actuarial project • Conduct trend and seasonality studies, model automation and process improvement, retrospective reserve review, or pharmacy modeling • Present the completed project to senior leadership at the end of the summer • Participate in targeted training for Excel, SQL, VBA, PowerPoint, and other technical skills • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and execute AI-enabled actuarial solutions • Optimize financial performance, strengthen risk management, and improve member and provider outcomes

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required • Current college / university student in an accredited degree program or graduated within the last 6 months is required • One actuarial exam or UEC credit required • Rising Junior or Rising senior preferred • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work independently and within a team environment • Effective listening and critical thinking skills • Dependable and flexible • Ability to maintain confidential information • Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
