📋 Description

• Manage medium to high complexity projects within programs and high complexity standalone projects • Ensure successful project delivery and completion of milestone deliverables throughout the project lifecycle • Improve project management best practices, processes, and tools • Complete project closure activities • Refine project charters with stakeholders • Identify and assign business and IT resources • Develop and maintain project schedules, WBS, resource plans, budgets, and forecasts • Schedule project audits and ensure compliance with EPMO Governance requirements • Assess, manage, and control project scope, schedule, and budget changes • Escalate issues to Business Owners, Program Managers, and EPMO Leadership • Maintain stakeholder matrices, RAID logs, SharePoint sites, and project document repositories • Drive cross-functional communication between business and IT teams • Develop project communication, training, operations, and support plans • Mentor junior Project Managers or Program Coordinators • Schedule and facilitate project and stakeholder meetings • Represent projects in program and Portfolio Governance meetings • Capture and report meeting notes, decisions, action items, project status, metrics, and budget • Implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans • Identify, log, assign, and manage risks and issues • Produce detailed reports, business decision documents, meeting minutes, and notifications • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required • Minimum of five (5) years of Project Management experience is required • Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Teams, Outlook, etc. • Experience working in project management software is required • Excellent analysis and reporting skills • Excellent decision making/problem solving skills • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills • Excellent critical listening and thinking skills • Proven ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization of management within and externally to the organization • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to proactively, effectively and efficiently lead a project team of 20+ core members and multiple vendors • Experience managing a project of up to $3.5M in budget • Proven ability to prioritize work and team assignments to deliver projects on time, on budget, and meeting stakeholders expectations • Extensive understanding of project management processes, techniques and tools, and development lifecycle (ideally Agile) • Familiarity of healthcare payer industry and knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare a plus • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is strongly preferred • General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
