📋 Description

• Own Caribou's end-to-end Lifecycle marketing strategy and communications journey across email, SMS, and call scripting • Manage communications from pre-submission through conversion, reactivation, and post-funded advocacy • Define customer segmentation and personalization based on behavior, lead source, intent, Lifecycle stage, and other signals • Partner with Performance Marketing, Brand, Product, Sales & Operations, and Analytics & Data Science to improve the customer journey and conversion • Represent Lifecycle Marketing in cross-functional planning for AI-driven customer decisioning • Apply AI to content generation, creative personalization, campaign optimization, and other Lifecycle workflows • Establish testing and measurement frameworks, including holdout-based incrementality testing • Own Lifecycle marketing platforms and vendor relationships • Establish processes and governance and ensure execution quality and deliverability at scale • Partner with Legal and Compliance on customer-facing communications review and governance • Manage and develop the Lifecycle Marketing Operations Manager • Build a high-performing Lifecycle Marketing function

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing • Meaningful ownership of communications strategy, communications segmentation, and customer journeys at scale • Deep, hands-on expertise with marketing automation platforms • Technical fluency to understand how sophisticated Lifecycle programs are built and executed • Experience with Braze strongly preferred; SendGrid, Iterable, or similar platforms are also relevant • Demonstrated track record of driving measurable conversion lift through Lifecycle programs • Strong understanding of how communications influence customer behavior across the funnel • Comfortable with cohort analysis, funnel performance, incrementality testing, and connecting Lifecycle performance to revenue and business outcomes • Experience using AI to improve marketing execution, including content development, personalization, and campaign optimization • Experience partnering with Product, Sales, Operations, and Analytics/Data Science teams • Experience connecting marketing and human-assisted customer journeys, including digital and sales/contact-center channels and handoffs • Ability to set a long-term vision while working with segmentation logic, campaign performance, and platform capabilities • Experience managing and developing high-performing team members • Experience in a regulated or compliance-sensitive industry such as financial services, lending, healthcare, or insurance is a strong plus • Availability for consistent attendance, active engagement, and full scheduled shifts • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
