📋 Description

• Draft, develop, prepare, and review pharmaceutical contract documents in accordance with company policies. • Manage rebate disputes. • Interface with Payors, GPOs, IDNs, clinics, and sales leaders to develop and manage contract negotiations. • Present complex deal concepts and non-standard provisions to senior leadership. • Manage the contracting process from RFP through contract negotiation and execution. • Support cross-functional Legal, Pricing, Sales, and Marketing teams with business logic and negotiation expertise. • Negotiate and redline pharmaceutical contract terms and provide alternative language options based on risk. • Analyze contract requirements, provisions, terms, and conditions for legal and policy compliance. • Manage pricing relationships, membership rosters, and contract eligibility processes. • Lead development of RFP requests and provide contractual documentation for bid submissions. • Lead contract discussions during RFP and RFI negotiations and coordinate stakeholder review of problematic provisions. • Manage deadlines and follow up with stakeholders on bids and agreements. • Identify contractual risks and escalate issues to senior leadership and management. • Lead contract-language revisions and finalize contract templates with subject matter experts. • Analyze contractual relationships and develop business terms appropriate to each relationship. • Administer customer pricing and maintain master customer data in enterprise systems as needed. • Lead cross-functional process improvement opportunities. • Coordinate onboarding activities for new EDI customers. • Provide Customer Service with correct pricing and payment terms so held orders can be released for processing. • Maintain promotional and standard payment-terms tables with Customer Data and Systems. • Operationalize novel agreements for short-dated products, slow-moving products, and non-traditional direct customers. • Perform other reasonable work activities assigned by management.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required • Minimum of 8+ years of related experience in customer contracting, sales/marketing, or pricing, including contract review, drafting, and proficient negotiation • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, hospital/pharmacy products, and/or medical device contractual terms and conditions required • Biosimilars/Biologic experience highly preferred • Demonstrated business acumen and experience negotiating and redlining customer agreements, preferably with GPO, IDN, hospital, and/or clinic contracting • Knowledge of and comfort working with various contract types • Strong written and verbal communication, critical thinking, problem resolution, and interpersonal skills • Superior interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to manage cross-functional teams • Advanced-level Microsoft Excel experience required • Experience with operating systems such as SAP, BEX, Qlik, Veeva, Spring CM, or Model N preferred • Working knowledge of contract management tools is a plus • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple complex projects with demonstrated time-management skills • Ability to work effectively with employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service-oriented attitude • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion and exercise sound business judgment • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English to perform essential job functions
