📋 Description

• Answer, schedule, and complete pre-registration documentation for patient and provider inquiries • Follow up on telephone, internet-based, written, and electronic correspondence • Educate patients and providers about insurance, providers, departments, locations, payment options, and Carle services • Facilitate communication among patients, providers, and the scheduler • Answer telephones and transcribe and deliver messages to physicians, nurses, and others • Report medical information from patients and referring physicians accurately, completely, and promptly • Distribute messages according to practice communication standards

🎯 Requirements

• Customer service work experience • Accurately screen and document patient and provider inquiries • Schedule and pre-register patients • Obtain, update, and verify patient demographics, insurance, emergency contacts, co-pays, and primary physicians in the HIS system • Accurately report medical information • Follow practice communication standards • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM • No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
