📋 Description

• Schedule, cancel, reschedule, and register outpatient visits and procedures for multiple ambulatory clinics • Collect all necessary patient information for scheduling and registration preparation • Obtain and verify patient guarantor information at least annually and generate referrals when needed • Schedule and register patients/customers according to scheduling guidelines and medical appropriateness • Identify and communicate scheduling modifications and development needs • Notify appropriate personnel of scheduling changes due to patient cancellations • Respond to patient and staff needs and complaints, involving supervisors and patient representatives as needed • Consult with referring physician offices to obtain and verify complete written or electronic orders • Complete Workques and daily scheduling-area tasks • Respond to patient communications and escalate immediate needs appropriately

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent • State criminal background check and Federal (if applicable), as required for regulated areas • Ability to sit for extended periods of time • Strong written and verbal communication skills
