• Advance Caron’s fundraising and Regional Advisory Board engagement and growth efforts in the region • Manage and grow the Regional Advisory Board, including quarterly meetings, agendas, communications, and member recruitment • Serve as liaison between the Regional Advisory Board and Caron Treatment Centers • Develop and execute regional board goals aligned with Caron’s strategic plan • Partner with the Vice President of Regional Advancement and Chief Development Officer to achieve annual and campaign fundraising goals • Coordinate high-level prospect meetings with the President and CEO and prepare prospect profiles, agendas, and strategies • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift prospects • Coordinate high-level donor touchpoints with the Chief Development Officer and President and CEO • Collaborate with the Regional Alumni Coordinator to develop a pipeline of major gift prospects • Coordinate with the Florida alumni and development team on cases returning to the region • Participate in monthly Major Gift, High Capacity, and Regional Development meetings • Regularly update Salesforce with notes and activity and communicate record changes to Development Services • Lead and coordinate the annual dinner to meet or exceed fundraising goals • Execute a contract with the local Special Events firm and ensure service benchmarks are met • Represent Caron at area special events involving key donors or constituents
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; Master’s degree is preferred • Minimum of 5-7 years of fundraising experience • Major gift and special event experience strongly preferred • Experience working with a Board of Directors and Special Event Committees strongly preferred • If in recovery, one-year continuous sobriety preferred • Meaningful connection to addiction and recovery preferred but not required • Ability to work extended hours • Must be able to travel frequently within the region • Occasional travel to other Caron regional offices, including Pennsylvania and Florida campuses • Must be able to travel by car, requiring own transportation, train, and air where necessary • Ability to present to audiences in large and small group settings • Ability to stand for extended periods of time when required • Appropriate home office space allowing confidentiality and privacy • Computer access and high-speed internet capability
