📋 Description

• Lead the technical development of smaller projects or specific energy conservation measures in support of large complex projects. • Collaborate and interact with customers as well as other NORESCO staff including Senior Project Engineers, Sales, Project Developers, Design Engineers, Construction Managers and Measurement and Verification (M&V). • Represent NORESCO at customer site visits and conference calls as part of the engineering team. • Conduct energy audits, site investigations, ECM scope development, energy savings calculations, and develop cost estimates for smaller federal, commercial and institutional facilities. • Analyze utility bill data to determine customer energy performance parameters. • Write detailed Energy Conservation Measure descriptions to be included in proposal submissions as well as scopes of work for subcontractors. • Support improvement of processes and tools for development and analysis of technologies and offerings. • Mentor and support training of lower-level engineering staff.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering • 5+ years’ experience working in the Energy or Sustainability Services industry • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Architectural Engineering • Experience using building energy modeling software • Demonstrated collaboration skills and working within a team environment • Proven track record developing technical solutions and projects • Advanced technical abilities to understand and analyze a wide variety of technical solutions • Strong organizational, technical writing and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail • Proficiency in MS Office including Word, and Excel
