• Monitor vendors and CMS activities during the breach process • Process eligible foreclosure referrals and perform referral validation • Collaborate and communicate with servicing support groups to meet referral timelines • Maintain, review, follow up on, and ensure timely completion of scheduled foreclosure referral steps • Communicate with default and servicing support groups and clients during foreclosure referral proceedings • Perform daily routine follow-up • Prepare files and perform bulk dispositioning during breach processing • Disposition breach or re-breach requests within established SLAs • Conduct pre-foreclosure referral due diligence for compliance with state, federal, and investor requirements • Manage custodians during collateral order, scanning, and foreclosure template setup • Use system-of-record, vendor tracking software, queuing, and control reporting tools to manage the pipeline • Maintain systems and vendor tracking software for required notifications and reporting • Ensure foreclosure procedural documents are imaged timely • Resolve exception cases and lien threats with team lead or supervisor guidance • Identify, remediate, and resolve complex or escalated matters with management guidance • Document servicing actions, delays, follow-up, and phone conversations in system notes • Monitor vendor performance and notify relevant management groups of performance issues • Perform other assigned duties and special projects
• Ability to self-motivate and work with limited supervision • Ability to understand opposing points of view on complex issues and negotiate and integrate different viewpoints • Ability to make decisions with moderate impact on the immediate work unit • Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule on a short-term basis • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and record, balance, and check results for accuracy • Ability to compose detailed reports, work-related manuals, and publications of limited scope or impact • Ability to meet strict deadlines • Effective written and oral communication, organizational, and time management skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure and changing priorities • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and quality of loan evaluation • Understanding of the foreclosure process and the difference between Judicial and Non-Judicial proceedings • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; some college preferred • Two (2) years of Foreclosure experience or a combination of three (3) years’ banking/mortgage experience • Notary Public or prior Paralegal experience preferred
