Cars & Bids is the best online auction marketplace to buy and sell modern enthusiast cars – and that means pretty much anything that’s cool from the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, or 2020s. To us, “cool” ranges from the obvious (a Ferrari F355 or a Lamborghini Gallardo) to the esoteric (a pristine Dodge Dakota Convertible or a Mercury Capri XR2) to the traditional fun cars that enthusiasts love (a Mazda MX-5 Miata or a Porsche 911). Basically, everything that’s exciting, fun, interesting, or quirky is welcome here!

📋 Description

• Own a portfolio of sellers end-to-end, from initial submission through a completed, sold auction • Proactively call, text, and email sellers to maintain momentum, remove friction, and prevent drop-off • Help sellers gather required materials and get their cars live on the site • Set expectations and negotiate reserves, including adjusting pricing based on market feedback • Ensure listings are accurate, complete, and professionally presented with the Editorial Team • Maintain urgency and accountability to maximize sell-through • Deliver fast, professional, high-touch support • Guide sellers toward a successful auction result

🎯 Requirements

• Proven sales experience with consumer products, marketplaces, or auctions • Strong emotional intelligence and confidence • Passion for enthusiast cars and understanding of how car buyers and sellers think • Knowledge of vehicle transactions, documentation, and ownership processes • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Strong follow-through • Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, performance-driven environments • Application requires a link to a favorite Cars & Bids listing • Application requires one suggestion for how the listing could be improved • Application requires description of a past customer-facing role involving phone work
