📋 Description

• Review customer contracts and determine revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606 • Prepare technical accounting memos supporting revenue conclusions • Execute month-end close activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis • Support contract asset, deferred revenue, and contract liability accounting • Partner cross-functionally to resolve revenue-impacting issues • Support Merchant of Record accounting and reconciliations • Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls • Support audits and provide documentation

🎯 Requirements

• 2 - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with significant focus on revenue accounting • Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP revenue recognition requirements • Experience reviewing customer contracts and documenting accounting conclusions for complex revenue arrangements • Demonstrated experience supporting audits within public accounting and/or corporate accounting environments; strong audit background required • Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close deliverables, and supporting schedules • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and reconcile large datasets • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Applicants must be located in or willing to move to AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, IA, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MS, NE, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WV • Must be eligible to work in the United States • Cart.com does not intend to hire candidates who will need, now or in the future, sponsorship through non-immigrant visa categories; Cart.com cannot sponsor or transfer visas
