📋 Description

• Perform month-end close functions for multiple entities • Prepare journal entries • Analyze and book accruals for pending invoices, open purchase orders, contracts, and credit card transactions • Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts and provide supporting documentation and detailed analysis • Review assigned cost center income statement variances month over month and year over year • Perform actual-to-budget/forecast income statement reviews for assigned cost centers • Cross-train with the accounting team on prepaids, fixed assets, and other assigned functional areas • Record cash transaction activity and reconcile all bank accounts • Support financial and tax audits by providing assigned PBC schedules and documentation • Ensure procedures comply with GAAP requirements and accounting department policies • Perform ad hoc analysis as requested • Report to the GL Accounting Manager

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years accounting experience • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, listening and written communication skills • Strong organizational and time-management skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments • Experience with ERP systems; Workday experience a plus • Demonstrated understanding of financial/accounting principles and systems • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
