Their multidisciplinary staff deliver MEP, structural, civil, telecommunications, energy, sustainability, lighting, fire/life‑safety, power delivery, substation and distribution, project and construction management, and related consulting services for public- and private-sector clients.

📋 Description

• Set up projects within appropriate systems for accurate billing and financial tracking • Review contracts and establish projects • Coordinate project billing activities and prepare accurate, timely client invoices • Ensure billing requirements are met • Prepare required forms and coordinate supporting billing documentation according to client contracts • Review outstanding accounts receivable and support collection efforts with Project Managers • Resolve outstanding balances • Collaborate with the Controller, Division Managers and Project Managers on WIP analysis, project monitoring and invoice issue resolution • Assist with project audits and closeouts • Ensure financial records and documentation are complete and accurate • Support special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed

🎯 Requirements

• At least four years of relevant experience • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field • Understanding of project accounting and billing • Experience with project setup, contract review, invoicing, accounts receivable and project financial monitoring • Knowledge of the architecture, engineering or construction (A/E/C) industry • Knowledge of billing processes within an architecture, engineering or construction environment • Detail-oriented and quality-focused • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Proficiency with accounting and business systems • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required • Experience with Deltek Vision is a plus
