📋 Description

• Perform month and quarter end close activities, including journal entries, detail and summary level analysis of impacts to the balance sheet and income statement, balance sheet account reconciliations, and reporting schedules • Support global Payroll Operations, Equity Administration, and Benefits teams with accounting knowledge • Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and other assigned tasks • Collaborate with Finance, Legal and Talent to ensure accurate financial statements • Ensure SOX compliance with key controls, accurate GAAP reporting, and internal and external reporting requirements • Support transitions and knowledge transfer while monitoring critical deliverables • Leverage AI, technology, and expertise to streamline accounting processes • Solve problems in a solutions-oriented environment

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance • Minimum of 3 years experience • Strong verbal, written, analytical, organization and critical thinking skills • Self starter with the ability to form conclusions and present findings • Team player with the ability to work independently and willingness to take on challenges • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment • Experience using AI tools to automate processes and drive efficiency gains • Experience with ERP systems, Workday and/or Oracle • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity • Working hours: 8 am to 5 pm PST (11am to 8 pm EST) • CPA preferred • Public accounting experience preferred
