📋 Description

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete financial records for assigned Member accounts • Complete month-end close activities on schedule • Prepare and issue accurate monthly financial statements and reporting packages • Import, categorize, and maintain transactional data • Reconcile all reconcilable accounts, including monthly bank reconciliations • Monitor and analyze accounting data and investigate variances and irregularities • Organize and update financial records for accuracy and compliance • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales tax, and related accounting processes • Prepare documentation for external auditors • Identify discrepancies, resolve issues proactively, and recommend workflow, system, and process improvements • Recommend ways to improve workflows, reduce costs, or enhance revenue for Members • Collaborate with the Member Services Team and work with a Senior Accountant reviewer • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Understanding of and adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Experience managing multiple clients at once, such as at a CPA or small accounting firm • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when explaining financial information • Comfortable using QuickBooks Online, Excel, project management tools, and AI assistants • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities • Able to work effectively with a Senior Accountant reviewer • Able to handle complex, time-sensitive tasks with accuracy • Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Must reside and work remotely from Colorado, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New York, Oklahoma, Utah, or Wisconsin • CPA is not required • No work sponsorship available
