📋 Description

• Lead management reporting and business analytics for the Firm • Translate questions from service lines, Finance and executive leadership into accurate, consistent reporting • Lead the development, review and deployment of firmwide dashboards with the Information Technology data analytics team • Define requirements, review logic and calculations, conduct user acceptance review and support dashboard adoption • Confirm dashboard output reconciles to systems of record • Document and maintain repeatable source data, definitions and calculation methods • Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis on monthly financial reporting for service lines, the Finance Committee and the Board • Review results, variance explanations and supporting analysis • Establish and maintain firmwide performance metric definitions and data standards • Advise leaders on reported results and identify trends, exceptions and matters requiring attention • Prioritize the reporting and analytics portfolio with the Chief Data Officer • Apply accounting and audit knowledge to evaluate data quality and support reporting controls • Lead, coach, mentor and provide performance feedback to the analytics team • Communicate with internal clients and participate in priority projects • Build cross-functional relationships and handle confidential information

🎯 Requirements

• 10 years of progressive experience in public accounting, financial reporting or management reporting and analytics • Active CPA license • Audit experience preferred • Working knowledge of financial accounting, financial statement analysis and the economics of a professional services firm • Experience translating business questions into reporting requirements and validating resulting output • Practical knowledge of business intelligence and reporting platforms, including Microsoft Power BI, and supporting data structures • Ability to identify errors in logic, source data or calculation • Ability to influence other teams and co-pilot cross-team initiatives without direct authority • Experience presenting to executive leadership, committees and boards • Outstanding analytic and Excel skills • Continuous improvement experience from diagnosis through documentation and execution • Ability to operate independently in a fast-changing environment • Ability to lead, develop and retain a small team of analytics professionals • Eligibility to work in the United States • No work sponsorship provided
