📋 Description

• Develop and deliver industry- and site-specific trainings • Lead site resources, management, and executive clients on EHS matters • Implement and enforce safety policies, with a focus on occupational safety and industrial, environmental, and ergonomic hygiene • Analyze and assess program analytics at industry and site levels • Provide comprehensive EHS leadership to all departments and employees • Administer environmental, health, and safety systems, policies, procedures, campaigns, and programs • Plan and implement safety policies and procedures compliant with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations • Develop and standardize EHS training and communication best practices • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, programs, job hazard analyses, and annual safety program reviews • Communicate health and safety issues and EHS performance and compliance assessments to the Director of EHS and VP of EHS • Conduct compliance audits and inspections • Develop audit findings and verify completion of required follow-up • Assess safety, health, and environmental impacts of new processes and equipment • Monitor EHS regulations, standards, and reporting requirements and evaluate their operational impact • Implement, audit, and continuously develop the focus site program • Develop, evaluate, and maintain the knowledge center in the 4Insite software program • Interview, hire, plan, assign, and direct work; conduct performance evaluations; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems • Ensure employees are trained on tasks and safety requirements • Travel regularly as required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5-8 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong presentation skills to train and give clear instructions on company and OSHA compliance • Experience with multi-site leadership across an enterprise organization • Life Science industry experience • CSP certification through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals preferred • May be required to have a valid driver’s license • Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily • Ability to travel regularly • Ability to sit regularly, walk frequently, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and stand occasionally
