📋 Description

• Develop collaborative, lasting relationships with private equity clients and portfolio company management teams • Execute complex accounting and finance optimization workstreams • Manage assigned engagement responsibilities and deliver accurate, structured, client-ready outputs on time • Apply U.S. GAAP and operational finance knowledge to financial reporting, close process improvement, audit readiness, and operational analyses • Participate in client discussions and status updates with prepared inputs and supporting materials • Support engagement leadership with coordination, planning alignment, and delivery of key outputs • Identify and communicate risks, challenges, or delays with context and potential solutions • Organize and prioritize deliverables according to engagement timelines and objectives • Provide hands-on accounting and finance support, including post-acquisition integration, financial reporting, close process improvement, audit readiness, working capital, cash flow, and operational finance analysis • Prepare analyses, schedules, and other accurate, well-structured, client-ready deliverables • Support engagement workplans by managing assigned workstreams and meeting timelines • Communicate with Controllers, CFOs, and private equity representatives • Participate in client meetings and provide updates and supporting materials

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • 7 years of experience in related field • 5 years supervisory experience • Must have and preserve required licenses • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements for private companies • CPA or equivalent professional certification • Strong analytical, Excel, and financial modeling skills • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly present financial information • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-driven environment • Master’s degree in Accounting or MBA with accounting or finance undergraduate degree preferred • 9 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role preferred • Prior experience in audit, advisory, financial consulting, or operational finance, preferably within a private equity backed portfolio company environment
