📋 Description

• Supervise the prior authorization request process and ensure work queues are managed and addressed properly and timely • Guide the authorization team in documenting and resolving authorization requests and issues • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, policies, procedures, and performance standards • Monitor authorization request inventory and allocate resources throughout the day • Maintain knowledge of contract requirements, policies, procedures, and performance standards • Identify process and quality improvement opportunities with the authorization team and senior management • Evaluate team performance and provide feedback on performance, goals, and career milestones • Coach and guide the authorization team on SLAs and department productivity goals • Monitor organizational risks, communicate risks to leadership, and develop mitigation action plans • Assist with onboarding, hiring, and training authorization team members • Participate in developing job aids and workflows and implement change management strategies • Perform other duties as assigned • Comply with all policies and standards

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience • Equivalent experience may substitute, acquired through applicable knowledge, duties, scope, and skills reflective of the position level • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future • Sponsorship and future sponsorship are unavailable, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, and CPT • Knowledge of contract requirements, policies, procedures, and performance standards • Ability to supervise and coach an authorization team • Ability to manage authorization request inventories and resource allocation • Ability to monitor SLAs, productivity, quality, and organizational risks • Ability to assist with onboarding, hiring, and training • Ability to develop job aids and workflows and implement change management strategies
