📋 Description

• Develops and implements strategic sales plans to meet/exceed goals for their assigned territory • Aggressively develops new business through the Central States Building Works sales process • Performs ongoing market analysis of the competition, their offerings, and market penetration • Understands barriers for growth in territory and proposes corrective actions to address the barriers • Maintains an in-person presence in the market, visiting prospects, competition, and job sites • Train customers on product specifications, marketing materials, online tools, sales techniques, and product installation before hand-off to Account Management Team • Gathers market intelligence for pricing decisions • Ability to bring on new business • Ability to engage existing clients to grow share of wallet • Ability to manage extended sales pipelines of projects and prospects • Ability to meet/exceed sales volume targets

🎯 Requirements

• College degree or equivalent work experience • 10+ years previous experience in developing new business, retaining existing clients, and sourcing new customers • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage pipelines and opportunities • Graduate degree in a related field of engineering, business, construction management, finance, or architecture (preferred) • Previous experience in the metal building industry (preferred) • Experience in using MBS, ACT and other estimating tools (preferred)
