📋 Description

• Conduct virtual and/or in-person assessments of customer locations, including field canvassing • Develop customized customer recommendations and present them persuasively • Consult with and assist a portfolio of customers in implementing recommendations • Use behavior change strategies to help customers complete implementation • Build and maintain relationships with customers, industry partners, and relevant waste diversion marketplace contacts • Deliver virtual and in-person presentations at workshops and conferences as needed • Track and record project information and data in Salesforce • Maintain knowledge of technologies, marketplace conditions, and strategies supporting facility waste diversion programs • Calculate waste diversion tonnage and related cost savings • Provide input and feedback on technical content for resources • Network to create new opportunities and generate leads, including occasional cold calling • Travel throughout the New England service area up to four days per week, with possible overnight travel

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of waste diversion experience, including 1-3 years of commercial experience • Experience with selling services preferred, with the ability to close on projects • Experience in education, educational materials, or educational services preferred • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences • Ability to speak a second language preferred; Spanish, Portuguese, or Mandarin is most helpful • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and deliverables • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team • Ability to track and report results • Flexible, reliable, and self-directed work style • Home office/remote work location must have high-speed internet access and a working location free from distractions and interference during business hours • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft Office • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check before the hire date • Must reside in the assigned territory • Must be able to travel within the assigned territory up to 80% of the time • Must have access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record
