📋 Description

• Advise internal and external stakeholders on labor, employment, compliance, and other legal matters • Provide advice on global employment law issues, including employee relations, performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, equity, compensation, benefits, contingent workers, employee classification, and global mobility • Prepare and negotiate employment-related agreements, including employment and severance agreements • Support and manage internal investigations into employee misconduct, legal or policy violations, employee disputes, and litigation • Contribute to workplace and compliance policies, processes, and guidance • Develop company-wide training on employment and compliance matters • Liaise with external counsel in the U.S. and other jurisdictions • Promote scalable processes and procedures while prioritizing internal client satisfaction • Collaborate with Legal and other teams on legal and compliance functions, including ownership of employee compliance policies • Apply Chainalysis’ risk appetite to make commercially astute, risk-appropriate decisions • Develop understanding of Chainalysis’ products, services, and business model

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctorate • 4–6 years of experience from a top-tier law firm and company in the SaaS, data services, or technology industries • Member of a U.S. state bar in good standing • Expertise in U.S. and global employment law matters • Experience advising companies in a pragmatic and commercial manner • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, critical thinking skills, and judgment • Judgment to anticipate and mitigate risk and know when and how to escalate issues • Ability to own tasks and work independently and collaborate across the company • Independent, patient, and thoughtful demeanor; ability to manage shifting priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment • Experience advising executives at high-growth technology companies (nice to have) • Familiarity with or interest in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry (nice to have)
