📋 Description

• Assist with oversight of all accounts payable functions for the Organization and its affiliates • Assist with accounts payable tasks and provide backup to the accounts payable team • Handle vendor maintenance, including new vendor additions, modifications, and default GL accounts • Review and monitor accounts payable system queues and logs • Review accounts payable aging and on-hold items to ensure timely invoice payment • Prepare nursing home invoices for processing • Handle the void check process • Provide leadership, support, and guidance to staff regarding deadlines • Coordinate completion of accounts payable tasks before check runs • Review and maintain the accounts payable system for accuracy and reporting compliance • Establish working relationships with vendors and internal approvers • Oversee reconciliation preparation for areas of responsibility • Resolve or escalate accounts payable issues and ensure resolution • Supervise, direct, and train personnel; direct daily activities and communicate organizational information, goals, and policies • Act as subject matter expert on invoices and accounts payable processing • Assist with the annual 1099 process • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of experience and education • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably in a multi-entity setting • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory/management experience • Strong knowledge and competency in accounts payable • Knowledge/experience with an automated accounts payable system • Proficient in advanced use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and complex financial systems • Strong leadership skills, critical thinking, and conflict resolution • Highly organized and able to manage many tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment • Proven successful experience leading, coaching and mentoring • Proficient in time management and prioritization • Ability to work independently with discretion and judgement • Well-developed interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills • Able to maintain a strict level of confidentiality • Must consent to drug and/or alcohol testing after a conditional offer of employment • Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse eligibility verification after a conditional offer for employees performing services for Florida affiliates
